2 BHK Vrindavan – A Home Reimagined in Bhandup, Mumbai
This project had a story even before we began. What we had were two small 1 BHK flats sitting side by side, and what the family wanted was a single home that felt open, modern, and above all — different. The transformation into a 913 sq. ft. 2 BHK was less about just breaking walls and more about stitching the spaces together so the home would flow naturally.
The master bedroom turned into a design debate of its own. The clients wanted something “unique and attractive,” something that would highlight the room instantly. We spoke at length about colors until we finally agreed on a combination that felt just right — green and beige. Green to stand out, beige to hold it all together. To give the wardrobes a richer look, we chose duco paint instead of laminates, which instantly lifted the space and gave it that handcrafted edge.
For the kids’ bedroom, the tone shifted. Blue and milk white became the base — calm yet playful. The arched headboard, the cheerful curtains, and the splash of color gave the room a lightness that children naturally bring to a home. It’s not overdone, just enough to feel joyful every time you walk in.
The living room reflects the family’s idea of comfort. Deep blue sofas, soft cushions, and a pair of marble-top nesting tables framed in gold give the space a modern yet cozy personality. The TV unit wall became another special corner — paired with the mandir, it carries both function and a quiet sense of spirituality, something the family really valued.
Looking back, what excites us most about 2 BHK Vrindavan is how it doesn’t feel like a home born from two separate units anymore. It flows as one. Every corner — from the bold master bedroom to the soft kids’ room and the welcoming living area — carries a character of its own, yet belongs to the same story.
Conclusion
At The Black Touch, this is what we love to create. Homes that don’t just work, but feel lived in from day one.
